Senior Workplace Investigator

Chantel Levy

B.M.O.S. Hons., J.D.

Chantel Levy is a senior workplace investigator who leads complex, high-stakes investigations across a broad range of sectors. She is recognized for her rigorous, trauma-informed approach to sensitive matters, including sexual harassment and violence, anonymous and whistleblower complaints, fraud, and other serious workplace misconduct. Her clients have included post-secondary institutions, corporations, municipalities, law firms, investment firms, faith-based organizations, paramilitary organizations, and hospitals.

Chantel's work is shaped by a diverse professional background that brings both nuance and contextual insight into how harassment and discrimination can manifest in workplaces. Prior to joining the firm, she worked in-house within the Ethics department of a global retailer, where she oversaw workplace investigations and managed an anonymous complaint hotline. Earlier in her career, she practised litigation, developing strong investigative foundations through conducting examinations for discovery and attending mediations.

Chantel has spoken at webinars on mental health in the context of workplace investigations, and best practices for new investigators. She has authored several blogs on workplace investigations, with select articles published in the Employment and Labour Law Reporter.

Chantel received her J.D. from Queen's University and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2014. She also completed the Osgoode Intensive Guide to Responding to Campus Sexual Violence short course at Osgoode Hall Law School in February 2025
